The Beauty Award
In order to draw attention to the professional reputation and the qualitive core values of the beauty industry, Beauty Trade Professionals organizes the Beauty Award, which is the trade competition for beauticians and beauty salons. Each year, an independent expert jury presents awards in seven categories to the best beauticians and beauty salons of the Netherlands. Participants in the Beauty Award are, among others, tested on professional knowledge, entrepreneurship, business operations, marketing and communication and vision of the profession. Winning the Beauty Award is a dream of many beauty professionals and the icing on the cake.
The Beauty Award process runs over a longer period of time and starts with creating an entry based on a questionnaire and regulations. After the closing date all entries are evaluated by the jury members during a jury gathering. They will determine which beauticians and beauty salons can expect a visit from the Mystery Guest. The Mystery Guest checks if the quality of the entry is also reflected in practice. However, this doesn’t necessarily mean that these salons are nominated! After the next jury gathering(s) three nominees are determined per category. Winners of the Beauty Award are announced during a spectacular gala night.
